Ladies Day on the Range

The Carter County Conservation District, along with the local NRCS office, hosted a fun and educational event on August 28th focusing on women in agriculture. The tour started off at the Bonsell Ranch. Those in attendance had the opportunity to tour the Bonsell's hoop house, which was in full production. The ladies then focused on weed management and plant identification. Ladies Day on the Range concluded at Carter County Events Center where the group focused on farm and ranch safety, canning, gardening and animal health.
