DMHA annual meeting quickly approaching

The Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association annual meeting will start at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 17 at Carter County Events Center.

The meeting will be very informative and will give updates with everything going on at the hospital. Updates will include discussion and progress on the new hospital, progress of the new computer system, a summary of grants and donations DMHA has received for equipment, new services that will be available in the new hospital and the formation of an endowment fund for the benefit of DMHA. Other topics will be a review of the hospital’s current services, utilization and financial status.

There will be a guest speaker from the Montana Community Foundation to explain the benefits of DMHA’s endowment and how donations and gifts can be beneficial to both the donor as well as the endowment.

On the business side of the isle, there are two positions open on the hospital board. Nominations are currently being sought and candidates will be introduced in the near future. There is also a minor change on the by-laws that will be addressed and voted on.
