Public hearing on town water system

The Town of Ekalaka will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 1 at 5 p.m. for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the Preliminary Engineering Report that was prepared for the water system.

At the public hearing recommended improvements will be explained. The purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding and any costs that may result for local citizens as a result of the project will be discussed. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed project and any environmental impacts.

Comments may be given orally at the meeting. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is recommended that comments or questions be submitted in writing before April 1 at 3 p.m. To submit questions and comments, contact Kitty Schmid at 406-775-8731.
