Carter County Chamber of Commerce members will elect officers at their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 12. The meeting will take place at the Ekalaka Public Schools board room at 6 p.m.
A change in bylaws last year moved the elections to March of each year so that current members had a chance to pay dues before elections took place.
Up for election at the meeting are two trustee positions, one for a two-year term and the other for a three-year term. The chamber will also be electing a president, vice president and secretary/treasurer.
In addition to elections, the Main Street Project will be reported on and ideas for Carter County/Ekalaka map printing and community involvement/chamber meeting structure will be discussed.
Attendance at recent meetings has been especially low. All current chamber members and persons that may be interested in joining are urged to attend.
