Bulldogs down Eagles, Longhorns

CCHS won a pair of conference games, both by wide margins, over the weekend. On Friday in Norther Cheyenne, they won by 32 points. Nine Bulldogs scored in the contest, led by Turner Tooke with 15. Blue went 3 of 12 from the free throw line (25 percent) and had 18 turnovers; the Eagles had 20 turnovers.

On Saturday the boys beat Wibaux by 42 points. They went up by 17 in the first quarter and never looked back. Wibaux committed 21 turnovers while CCHS had only 12. Mick O'Connor led all scorers with 22 points, 13 of which came in the first half. David Ashbrook had 8 points for the Dogs, all in the fourth quarter. Blue shot 8 of 10 from the charity stripe.

Currently sitting in third place in the conference, CCHS will play Terry during senior night on Friday before traveling to Hysham on Saturday to close out their regular season.
