The CCHS JV boys left Plevna with a 12 point win last Friday night. Each quarter, the boys slowly took more of a lead. The Bulldogs had 31 turnovers and shot 46 percent from the free throw line. Jaden Pardee led CCHS with 17 points, Sean Wolenetz added 12 and had a pair of three-pointers. Bret Edgell scored 16 for the Cougars.

The JV boys’ basketball game in Jordan on Saturday was close, as it was earlier this year when the two teams played at home. CCHS had a two-point lead at halftime and a three-point lead at the end of the third. In the end, they lost by 2. The Dogs finished with 4 fewer turnovers than the Mustangs and shot 2 of 4 from the charity stripe.

The varsity boys lost their third conference game of the year and fifth game overall on Saturday in Jordan. The Bulldogs beat Jordan earlier this season in a very entertaining, four-point game at home on January 3. In Jordan, Blue was outscored in the first quarter, 16-2, and the third quarter, 22-4. CCHS lost the turnover battle 24-15. As a bright spot, they did shot 11-14 (79 percent) from the free throw line. Turner Tooke led the way on offense with 11 points.
