Carter County Museum recently received a toolkit for The Explore Science: Earth & Space project. Items from the kit will be used at events for local children hosted by the museum later this year.
This spring, Carter County Museum will host a series of Earth and space activities for local children. First, a story hour at Ekalaka Public Library featuring age appropriate activities for kids will take place on two different Thursdays between March and May. The museum will also have board game based activities during International Dark Sky Week, April 20-24, during regular hours and a full lineup of pop up experiments during the Junior Scientist Summer Program (dates announced later).
