Blood drive successful

Another Ekalaka community blood drive ended successfully last week in Ekalaka. The drive produced thirty-one units of blood from 25 different donors.

Several walk-ins and a few new donors contributed to the success.

Garth Tooke won $25 as a door prize.

The next Ekalaka community blood drive will be held on Wednesday, March 25 from 1:45 to 5:30 p.m. at Carter County Events Center in Ekalaka. Going forward, blood drives in Ekalaka will be held on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays.
