Netters fall to Wibaux, defeat Circle

Last Friday CCHS Volleyball played Wibaux at home for senior night. The Bulldogs had a large lead early on in the first set but Wibaux stormed back. Blue was able to hold off a late Longhorn charge and took set one, 25-22. Wibaux pulled away and won the next three sets, 17-25, 13-25 and 10-25. Heather LaBree and Kenzie Tooke each had 8 kills to lead the team. Kari Kittelmann led the team in digs with 20 and Hannah LaBree led in assists with 11.

On Saturday, Lady Blue traveled to Circle while the Circle boys traveled to Ekalaka. The girls beat Circle in three consecutive sets, 25-20, 25-16 and 25-23. Heather LaBree had a team high in aces (2), blocks (2) and assists (18 of 19). Gracie Tooke led in kills (7 of 28) and Hannah LaBree led in digs (10 of 70).

On Monday, CCHS took on Baker's JV squad. Again, the Dogs won in consecutive sets, 25-16, 25-18 and 26-24. Whitney Kittelmann had half of the team's 24 assists and Kari Kittelmann had 15 of the team's 61 digs. Heather LaBree led in blocks with 3 while sister Hannah LaBree had a team-high 10 kills. Three Bulldog players had 3 aces each.

Next Thursday and Friday, Lady Blue will be in Glendive for the District 2C Volleyball Tournament.
