Marilyn Allerdings, age 79, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Silha Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Silha Funeral Home with Father Francis Schreiber officiating. Rite of Committal will be held in Sunnyside Cemetery in Trotters, North Dakota. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Marilyn was born on May 1, 1940 in Beach, North Dakota, a daughter of Carlot and Mary (Bishop) Nellermoe. She was raised and educated in Beach, and graduated from Beach High School.

Marilyn married Wes Allerdings on February 16, 1965. Marilyn was Wes' right hand during their many years of ranching. She would help with tending to the heifers and newborn calves with loving attention to meet their needs. She loved her horses and loved to ride! She also loved the many kitties she had and how they grew into the fine cats she continued to love.

Marilyn had a passion for her flower garden and took pride in how beautiful her flowers grew and brightened up her world. She had a formal dining room that was so "put together" with painting and vases of pink roses. Wes would comment on how he never recognized how matching everything was with the colors and the decor, but he certainly admired the attention she gave to fashion her home with her loving touch.

Marilyn was diagnosed with cancer fourteen months ago. In all of those fourteen months she never complained of pain, and she never showed any anger about being in that debilitative state. She lived in the nursing home in a room, and never complained about wanting to go home to her spacious space of home. Marilyn was a kind and gentle soul that had a close relationship with God and liked to pray and read her daily scriptures. She had compassion and love for Wes and was sure to talk about how concerned she was that she was soon going to leave him and she wanted to know that he would be looked after.

Marilyn you were loved and you will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Russell; and her aunts and uncles.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Wes of Glendive; two brothers, Rudy Nellermoe of Oregon and Ron Nellermoe of Nevada; one sister, Ramona of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
