Grants available to benefit Carter County

Carter County Community Foundation (CCCF) recently announced the opening of a grant cycle to benefit communities and residents of Carter County.

Grants will range in size from $500 to $5,000. Applicants must either be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or a church, school, hospital or government unit located in Carter County, Montana. The application deadline is October 18, 2019. Eligible projects must provide a direct benefit to Carter County residents.

Previous grant offerings from CCCF have provided funding to the following local organizations:

• Carter Co. Library (tables and a new outdoor book return)

• Carter Co. Museum (plexiglass for displays and Ekalaka Eagle preservation supplies)

• Carter Co. Food Bank (freezer)

• Ekalaka Volunteer Fire Dept. (boots & gloves)

• Carter Co. Senior Citizens (chairs & front window shades)
