Town election coming

Three council seats are up for election in this year’s Town of Ekalaka municipal election. There is one seat open for a four-year term and two seats open for two-year terms. June 17 is the deadline for candidates to file for office.

Anyone interested in filing for any of the three positions may do so by requesting the paperwork from the Ekalaka Town Office. April 18 is the first day to file for office. Only active registered voters who reside within the Town of Ekalaka are eligible to file.
