Attorney Jennifer Williams has volunteered her time to present three talks, that are free and open to the public, at Ekalaka Public Library on legal issues. Each of these talks will start with roughly a half hour of Williams presenting through a camera and will be followed by a question and answer session.
The first talk focusing on health directives will take place on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m.
The second talk is all about wills and will take place on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m.
The final talk on Tuesday, July 16 at 6:30 pm will focus on trusts.
Interested individuals are asked to call Pat Kalstrom at the library (775-6336) to register so that they can get a rough estimate of the number of people attending.
These presentations are also available on Williams’ website: https://www.jawlawoffice.com.
In addition to these talks on legal issues, the library will be offering introductory genealogy classes this spring. The first class is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7 at 3:30 p.m., and a second will take place on Thursday, May 9 at 5 p.m.
Again, individuals should register by calling the library at 775-6336. Participants will need the use of a computer and may bring their own laptop with them as there are a limited number of computers available at the library. More of these classes may be added if they are full and more are requested.
