On Tuesday in Ekalaka, the Bulldogs took on Broadus for a second time this season. A few short weeks ago, Blue narrowly escaped Broadus with a win. That game, they were without inside presence Mick O'Connor. With O'Connor on Tuesday, the Dogs took a three point halftime lead, and grew that lead to 17 by the end of the game. Hot shooting from outside, led by senior Caleb Fix who hit three shots from beyond the arc, helped to open things up inside the painted area. Full court pressure from the Hawks did result in 16 Bulldog turnovers, but as a team they were able to overcome them. The Dogs shot 70 percent on free throws in the contest.
