Lady Blue beat Baker handily last Friday. The Dogs out-rebounded the Spartans (38-19), won the turnover battle (18-35) and had more steals (19-12). Fourteen of Blue's 38 rebounds were offensive and 5 went for putbacks. Claire Callahan led in rebounds with 7 and Heather LaBree led in points with 15. Six Bulldog players scored in the contest.

Baker maintained an early lead to win the JV game in Ekalaka. Both teams struggled with full court pressure; CCHS had 37 turnovers and Baker had 40. Fifty-nine free throws were attempted in the game. CCHS shot 14-29; Baker went 16-30. Eight Bulldogs scored in the contest, led by eighth grader Tyra O'Connor with 12.

On Saturday, the girls traveled to Plevna for one game against the Cougars. The non-conference game allowed head coach Kayla Olsen to play all 15 players who were suited up. CCHS won, 56-15. Ten Bulldogs scored, led by Whitney Kittelmann with 17.
