Cloverbuds is a 4-H program for youth between the ages of five and seven that allows them to explore 4-H prior to being eligible to become a full-fledged 4-H member. This year in Cloverbuds, kids will focus on a different country every month. They will learn about the country's culture, create snacks that are unique to the country, keep records in a passport book, make crafts and most importantly, have fun.
Carter County Cloverbuds will be held on the first and third Tuesday of every month, starting in January and continuing until the end of May, from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Ekalaka Elementary school. The first meeting will be on January 15.
The Cloverbud program is also currently looking for adult volunteers to help with activities. Anyone who might enjoy helping is encouraged to contact the Extension Office. Kids and adults must be registered for the program prior to participating. For more information or to find out how to enroll, contact the Fallon/Carter Extension Office at 406-778-7110.
