How to get groceries

With no grocery store currently open in Ekalaka, residents and business people have found various creative solutions so that members of the community can still get the groceries they need.

Senior Citizen Coordinator Karen Carroll announced Tuesday that the Carter Charter will be traveling to Baker every Friday so that residents may travel there to purchase groceries. Interested individuals are asked to call Billie Elmore at 406-775-6383 or 406-853-4651.

Residents also have the option of calling Reynolds Market in Baker, placing an order and paying for it over the phone. Reynolds will then fill the order. Orders placed the evening before will be delivered by Jaci Horner to the Wagon Wheel Cafe and will be available for pickup by 9 a.m. the next morning. Orders can be delivered to the Wagon Wheel on every day except Sunday.
