Take aim with Carter County 4-H Shooting Sports

Enrollment is open for 4-H Shooting Sports! Shooting Sports is a safe, fun and challenging activity that can become a lifelong passion to be shared with the entire family. The safe and responsible use of firearms and archery equipment is the primary focus of 4-H Shooting Sports.

Carter County Shooting Sports will be offering air rifle and archery disciplines at Carter County Events Center this year. Youth interested in participating must have turned nine years old by October 1, 2018 and be enrolled in the project. Air rifle will be offered on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. starting November 27. Archery will be offered on Thursdays at 4 p.m. starting November 29. Bot will take place at the Events Center.

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 21 at 12:15 p.m. at the Events Center. Parents will need to attend this meeting to sign paperwork. Lunch will be provided.
