Blood drive on Patriot Day

Patriot Day, observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, occurs on September 11 of each year in memory of the people killed in the September 11 attacks of 2001. We all recall the heroes of that day, and this year we can fulfill the call to service of our fellow citizens by donating blood.

There is a hero inside each of us, ready to make a difference when others need our help. When you donate blood, you are a hero, and you can get that feeling over and over again throughout the year. Think about how the people who need those donations feel about you. You are, without a doubt, a hero to them.

To find the hero in you, make an appointment today by calling Darlene Carter-Rose at 406-775-6431 for the drive on Tuesday, September 11 at the Carter County Events Center from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Every unit collected affects the lives of three recipients. Find the hero in you...give blood 3 times a year!
