Aaron Scoles

Aaron Robert Scoles, 52 of Billings, Montana, passed away Thursday morning, June 28, 2018. Aaron was born in Baker, Montana on October 2, 1965, the son of Robert and Roselyn (Molstad) Mott. He was united in marriage to Michelle Marie LaJesse on July 20, 1991 in Billings, Montana.

Aaron grew up in the Chalk Buttes of Ekalaka, Montana enjoying the simple yet exciting life of country living. He had more friends in high school than the average person due to his outstanding and friendly personality. After high school, he went to VoTech in Billings and then worked with his dad Jack Mott in California for a few years. He eventually moved back to the state he loved and Montana is where he stayed. He met his wife Michelle in 1989 on the sidewalk of the Corner Bar in Baker, Montana. Please don't over think this. They dated for a couple years and married in July 1991. They would have been married for 27 years in a few days.

His love for his daughters were the highlight of his life. They made his day with every visit and he enjoyed advising them on their life journey into adulthood. His strength and resiliency was complimented by his wife who put up with his stubbornness and gave him unconditional love every day.

He enjoyed camping, working on cars, computers and just tinkering with anything that was a challenge. His gift to the world was his mind and his ability to think through a project and make it work to the amazement of everyone that watched him.

Aaron was employed by many places. Major employers included: Roscoe Steel and Culvert, IBM, Qualxsrv and his most recent employer - Patterson Dental.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle, and two daughters, Crystal Scoles of Billings, Brianna (Zachary) Moore of Billings; his mother, Roselyn Mott of Vernal, Utah; his father, Robert (Sherry) Scoles of Billings; his brother, Richard Scoles of Billings, and sons, Connor and Jake; his half-sister, Chris (Chris) Scoles and family of Auburn, Washington; his sister in law, Samantha (John) Twombly and family of Fort Worth, Texas; his two step brother in laws, Tony (Kristi) Grenz and Ken (Kristen) Grenz and families of Jamestown, North Dakota.
