The Southeast Electric Cooperative’s 67th annual meeting will take place Friday, June 8 at Carter County High School in Ekalaka. Registration will begin at 4 p.m., a free roast beef dinner and entertainment will be offered at 5 p.m. and the business meeting will start at 6 p.m.
Members will be updated on cooperative activities and have an opportunity to ask questions. An election will be held for Directors from Districts 3 and 6. Free babysitting will be available and door prizes, along with two $500 cash prizes, will be given out.
All members attending are asked to bring the registration materials they received in the mail.
The cooperative serves the community with 1,719 miles of line, over 30,000 poles and over 60,000,000 kilowatt hours per year.
