In their first game at the state tournament, CCHS was down only four points heading into the fourth quarter. It was late in the quarter when Plentywood was finally able to get some separation.
The Bulldogs had more turnovers and shot a worse percentage from the charity stripe. Whitney Kittelmann hit three shots from behind the arc in the contest. Hannah LaBree led in points with 11, and turnovers 7. CCHS battled, but the game got out of reach late as they lost, 45-54.

Thursday's loss set a loser-out matchup against Ennis for Friday afternoon. CCHS was down by two points at half, and the game was tied at the end of the third quarter. It really came down to free throws in the end.
Ennis made only 43% of their shots from the stripe, but they took 35 of them, compared to just 15 for CCHS. For the game, Blue shot 7 of 52 on two's, 6 of 24 on 3's, and 7 of 15 from the free throw line. The Dogs had 45 rebounds, one more than Ennis, but lost the turnover battle 15-11. Heather LaBree led CCHS in points, 8, and rebounds, 11.
Though the Bulldogs lost 39-44, the team played two close games at the state tournament and gained valuable experience that can help them in future years. The Bulldogs had only one senior on their roster this year, Jordan King.
