JV boys go 2-1

Last Tuesday the JV boys basketball team beat Custer/Hysham by 19 at home. CCHS only shot 3-12 on free throws, but won the turnover differential by 5. Turner Tooke finished the game in double digit points with 10.

Custer/Hysham 3 8 - 11

Turner Tooke 10, Ryan Rychner 7, Dylan King 6, Seth Kennedy 5, Cameron Wolenetz 2.

Against the Eagles of Norther Cheyenne, the JV boys didn’t fare as well, losing by 22. The Bulldogs committed 27 turnovers compared to just 10 for the Eagles. Tooke again led the way with 14 points.

Against Wibaux the JV boys played better, committing only 11 turnovers while forcing 14. They did, though, miss all four of their free throw attempts on the way to a 26-17 victory.
