Junior high volleyball season ends

The Junior High Volleyball played Broadus on September 29. The B Team won the match. 25-21, 18-25, 15-10. Kendall Kittelmann was the top server for the match. The A Team played well and won the match. 25-11, 25-9, 16-14. The top servers were Katy Ivy and Kenzie Tooke

The Junior High team played Circle for the first time ever. The B Team came out strong and won the first set, but lost the match with two close sets. 25-19, 23-25, 12-15. The A Team won the match, having to play all three sets. 27-25, 12-25, 15-12. Kenzie Tooke and Tyra O’Connor were the top servers for the match.

Buffalo, South Dakota came to Ekalaka on October 2. Buffalo won the match, but the B Team rallied to win the second set. 20-25, 25-22, 8-15. Kendra Tooke and Kendall Kittelmann were top servers for this match. The A Team played well to win the match in two sets. Buffalo won the third set which was played for fun. 25-18, 25-20, 7-15.

For the last games the team to Wibaux. Ekalaka B Team won the match. 25-15, 25-18, 15-8. Kendra Tooke was top server for this match. The Ekalaka A Team lost the match 17-25, 22-25, 9-15. The top server for this match was Kenzie Tooke.

The girls worked hard, doing different drills to help them learn and improve their skills. It is rewarding to see how each team and individual has improved during the season. Ekalaka B team ended the season with a win/loss record of 4-6. Ekalaka A Team had a win/loss record of 9-4.
