CCHS won their first football game of the season last Saturday in Alexander, ND. It was the Comets homecoming game, CCHS spoiled it.
CCHS scored early and often. Early in the second quarter they secured a running clock. At that time, the Bulldogs—in good sportsmanship—took their foot off of the accelerator. Several players were put in positions they had seldom, or never, played before. Blue took a lead over sixty points into halftime.
Throughout most of the second half, backup quarterback Seth Kennedy took snaps under center. He also took over kicking duties for sophomore Max Larson.
