Flu vaccine still available at Dahl

Influenza Vaccine is still available at Dahl Memorial Clinic! The best way to protect yourself and those around you from influenza is to get vaccinated. The CDC recommends everyone over the age of six months gets vaccinated against the flu.

In addition to getting vaccinated, here are some everyday ways to stop the spread of germs: wash your hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub; avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth; try to avoid close contact with sick people; practice good health habits like getting plenty of sleep and exercise, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids and eat healthy food; cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze; and if you are sick with flu-like illness, stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

To get you and your family vaccinated against influenza, go to Dahl Memorial Clinic during business hours, no appointment is necessary! Cost for the flu vaccine is $20 if paid at the time of service, or $30 if billed to insurance. Please call Dahl Memorial Clinic at 775-8738 with any questions.
