Annual hospital meeting slated for September 14

The annual membership meeting for Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association will be held Thursday, September 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the Carter County Events Center. Association members are encouraged to attend and hear a report of activities from the last year as well as recognize employees for their valuable service to the community.

Additionally, there will be discussion about progress on the building project, the new facility strategic plan, and tele-medicine services available at the facility.

Nominations of Dean Bruce, Dane Castleberry, Charles Parks, Bud Powell, and Dan Schrock have been provided for elections of two board positions. Dwayne Bruce had agreed to run and later withdrew his nomination.

Absentee voting will begin at the facility starting on September 1 at 8:00 a.m. and will continue until 4:00 p.m. on September 14. Members who wish to absentee vote should go to the hospital and see Alicia Knapp during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday). Anyone who is not an association member and would like to join can purchase a lifetime membership for $10 from Knapp as well.
