This Saturday everyone who is in town to enjoy Days of '85 activities will have the chance to preview the official film trailer for Feek's Vision, a documentary by Ken Howie.
Feek's Vision is the story of Feek Tooke and the Tooke bucking horses; horses with champion-producing bloodlines that have impacted the history of rodeo and still play a strong role today.
During the movie, viewers will hear stories told by rodeo greats such as Larry Mahan, Ty Murray, Deb Copenhaver, Harry Vold, Mel Potter, and more.
Saturday will provide an exclusive chance for people to view the trailer and take part in a question and answer session with Howie and family consultant Toby Tooke. The viewing will be held outside of Carter County Museum, beginning around 7:30 p.m.
Howie started the film over a year ago and has traveled countless hours to film the horses and sit down with rodeo legends across the country. He started the film after speaking with Tooke a few times over the phone for a smaller project, but quickly realized that the story was much bigger than he originally anticipated.
The completed film will debut during the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV, December, 2018.
Anyone interested in contributing to the film can contact Tooke at 406-698-3551 or Carter County Museum at 406-775-6886. More information, as well as a quick teaser for the trailer, can be found at feeksvision.com and facebook.com/tookebuckinghorses/.
