JB and the Moonshine Band to headline jam-packed Days of '85

Texas-based country group JB and the Moonshine Band is set to headline a jam-packed Days of '85 Fair this year.

The group, led by front man JB Patterson who is the lead vocalist, songwriter and rhythm guitarist, originally signed to Colt Ford's record label, Average Joe's Entertainment in 2010. That's the same label that signed award winning country music duo Montgomery Gentry. The group has released three studio albums: Ain't Goin' Back to Jail, Beer for Breakfast, and Mixtape, in addition to 12 singles and numerous music videos. Their YouTube channel has over 2,000,000 views.

Some of their more popular songs include Whiskey Days, Missin' You Again, No Better Than This, Perfect Girl, The Only Drug, and Yes. The music video for Perfect Girl was nominated for CMT's Top 30 Videos of 2011.

People who enjoy good honky-tonk music are sure to enjoy JB and the Moonshine Band as their music falls into a similar category with Aaron Watson, Josh Abbott Band, Whiskey Myers, and Casey Donahew Band. In fact, Patterson co-wrote the number one hit single Double-Wide Dream with the front man from Casey Donahew Band.

The show will start at 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12 on Main Street in Ekalaka.
