The Carter County Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring a Fourth of July bash on Main Street in Ekalaka on Tuesday, July 4 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. At dusk, there will be a fireworks display for all to enjoy.
The bash on main will include an array of games and activities that are fun for the entire family. Some of these activities may include a cake walk, darts, kids’ fishing booth, egg toss, bean bags, horseshoes, cotton candy or snow cones, races, face painting, and tug-of-war, just to name a few.
After the bash concludes attendees can stick around for the chamber sponsored fireworks display which will begin at dark. The chamber is still seeking donations for the display. Around $300 dollars has already been raised and will go towards their goal of $2000. Donations can be given to any chamber member.
Downtown businesses will be open throughout the day. Bring the entire family to Main Street in Ekalaka on July 4 for a day full of fun.
