Honor our vets and pray for our country

Heavenly Harp out of Phoenix, Arizona will present a beautiful concert to encourage everyone in these tenuous times. Attendees will enjoy a combination of music featuring harp, piano with flute, and vocals on popular and Christian pieces like “What a Wonderful World,” “My Country Tis of Thee,” “How Great Thou Art,” “God Bless America,” and “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.” Everyone will be invited to participate in singing some of these songs as well.

Karin Gunderson, author of “Encounters with Heaven - Stories of God’s Surprising Presence” along with her son, Ryan, and daughter, Dijana, will be presenting “Encounter with Heaven,” an experiential evening combining honoring veterans with the “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” Karin’s incredible true stories from her work as a hospice harpist, and prayers for the nation and its leaders. Karin says, “It is time we unite in prayer for our country!”

The Gundersons will be giving a concert Monday, July 3rd at 6 pm at St. Elizabeth Lutheran Church in Ekalaka.

Ryan Gunderson began playing by ear in first grade and was soon creating compositions for the adult choir at his family’s church. This winter, at age twenty, he recorded his first relaxing piano album which will be available along with Karin’s Heavenly Harp Music CDs and musical nature DVDs. Seventeen-year-old Dijana joined the family in 2013 and began touring as a performer in 2014.

One recent concert attendee exclaimed, “Heaven can’t be much more beautiful than this!” For more information, contact St. Elizabeth Lutheran Church or visit http://www.ChristianHarpMusic.com and KaringJourney.com. CDs and DVDs will be available.
