Ekalaka Public Library will have a library board trustee position open at the end of June. The term is for five years and would begin July 1.
The library board consists of five individuals who are residents of Ekalaka or rural Carter County. The board meets monthly to create/update library policies, develop long range planning and goals for the library, and other such responsibilities.
Town council members will need to appoint the new trustee at their June meeting, so they are requesting that applications be submitted to the town office before May 23.
