    On November 14, 1953, CCHS football won the Eastern Montana C Football Championship, completing the team's only undefeated season. That year, there was no six-man state championship. The game was played in Ekalaka, as was the divisional championship played the week before against Sacred Heart, which CCHS won 56 to 6.     The CCHS Bulldogs finished their 2017 volleyball season at the Eastern C Divisional Tournament in Sidney last weekend. In their first game of the tournament, Lady Blue lost three consecutive sets to Savage, 18-25, 16-25, and 9-25. Tori Tooke led the team in kills (7 out of the team's 21) and assists (10 of 20).     CCHS men finished their football season on a high note last Thursday afternoon when they defeated Froid-Medicine Lake by a wide margin.     Bulldog volleyball traveled to Broadus to take on the Hawks last Friday. In the junior varsity match, CCHS dropped the first set 17-25. The set was close until Karli Collins of Broadus went on a scoring streak. In the second set, Blue was outmatched, losing 11-25. The third set was a close one, but the girls lost 12-15.     Last Friday night at Rowely Field, CCHS football took on Savage. The Bulldogs played a strong game on the defensive side of the ball, holding Savage to 13 points in the first half. In the second quarter, freshman quarterback Jared Pardee threw a 22 yard touchdown pass to sophomore Max Larson. The Dawgs were down 13-6 at halftime.
