    On June 22, forty-five guests spent a fun-filled day outdoors at Springhill Ranch near Wibaux at the inaugural BBs & Bows in the Badlands event for youths and their families.     Fourteen super stock cars, three pickups and five modified cars raced at Ekalaka's bump-n-run at the airport on Saturday. A cool, rainy day resulted in a muddy track that needed no extra water on it to keep the dust down. The day featured two heats of super stock and one of modified, followed by the main races.     The Bulldogs headed into the Southern C Divisional as a three seed after an exciting consolation win over Broadus at districts. In their tourney opener they played Park City.     After splitting games with Wibaux and dropping two to Melstone in the regular season, the CCHS Lady Bulldogs beat both teams when it really mattered and came away with a first place trophy from the District 4C Tournament in Miles City over the weekend.
