    Carter County High School defeated Broadus by twenty-six points in their final game of the football season on Saturday. The game took place in Broadus and featured the fourth place team from each of the Montana 8-Man Eastern Conference's sub-divisions. On the Bulldogs' first possession, senior quarterback Turner Tooke turned a broken play into a long touchdown run. After that play, the game was never in doubt.     The CCHS Bulldogs started strong versus their conference opponent from Culbertson last Friday night at Rowley Field. On Blue's first possession, they chewed almost seven minutes off the clock on their way to the end zone. Late in the second quarter, the Dogs held a 20-13 lead on the Cowboys.     Last Thursday the CCHS Lady Bulldogs traveled to Plevna and defeated the Cougars in three straight sets, 25-12, 25-11 and 25-16.     The Bulldogs traveled to Forsyth last Friday night and got a much needed win over the 1-5 Dogies. The Bulldogs led for most of the game. Most of Forsyth's scoring came on large chunk plays, both on the ground and through the air. The Dogs, though, were able to rip off a few big scoring plays of their own.     The Bulldogs' record dropped to 1-4 on the season when they fell to the Spartans on Friday night in Scobey. It was the Spartan running attack that really did damage early on as the Bulldogs found themselves down 22-0 late in the second quarter.     The Bulldogs were originally scheduled to play a conference game in St. Labre last week, but since St. Labre canceled its season the school scheduled a non-conference game at home versus Park City.     Three CCHS athletes competed at the MHSA Class C State Track and Field Meet in Missoula over the weekend. Freshman Ethan Frye competed on the men's side.
