    One sophomore and two freshman will represent CCHS at the MHSA Class AA-C State Track & Field Meet in Missoula this weekend. On the men's side, freshman Ethan Frye will compete in the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles. Frye finished fifth in the 110m hurdles at the Southern C Divisional meet in Laurel, one-hundredth of a second behind fourth, and sixth in the 300m hurdles.     Area veteran organizations will be holding a Memorial Day service Monday, May 31 at Beaver Lodge Cemetery in Ekalaka. The traditional ceremony was not held last year in deference to COVID-19 restrictions. The service starts at 11 a.m. There will be a picnic and social at Carter County Events Center following the cemetery services.     Votes were tallied Tuesday night for the recent school election. Unofficial results show that Lynn Williams and Tye B. Williams have been elected to fill three-year terms as trustees for Ekalaka Elementary District #15 and High School District #3. Lynn Williams received 266 votes and Tye B.     Votes for the Alzada School District 56 trustee mail ballot election were counted on Tuesday evening at Carter County Courthouse. Unofficial results show that Miranda Hendrickson has been elected to fill a three-year term as trustee, defeating Ashlee Thomas and Lane R. Pilster.     Ekalaka Elementary District #15 recently made an offer, which has been accepted, to buy a private property located at 228 Senator Street in Ekalaka. The property consists of Lots 4 & 5, Block 2 of the Cady Addition, next to Rowley Field. The school has not yet taken possession of the property.
