On February 22, Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Carter County Conservation District hosted an adaptive management workshop. Throughout the day there were around forty-five people at Carter County Event Center. Kevin Sedivec, NDSU Professor and Rangeland Management Specialist, came to Ekalaka to speak at the event. A pair of local men on the search for coyotes turned into a rare chance for another to harvest a mountain lion near Ekalaka back in January. A pep rally will be held for local FFA students during National FFA Week this year.
