On October 5th David and Ijkalaka Russell were inducted into the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame. There to receive the framed award were David and Ijkalaka's great-grandsons, Tom Carroll and Les Kreitel. The Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame awards rodeo scholarships to students. Ekalaka Public Schools' community reading series kicked off the 2024-25 school year with a remarkable success. The "Reading Under the Lights" event drew over 200 attendees, with the Ekalaka Public School Board generously cooking and serving a delicious meal. Join a group of local fitness enthusiasts beginning Thursday, October 3rd for senior exercise classes inside the physical therapy room at Dahl Memorial.
