The parking lot of St. Elizabeth Lutheran Church in Ekalaka will be a great stop for young trick-or-treaters when Halloween arrives this year. The annual ‘Trick or Trunk’ event will feature vehicles decorated for the occasion by rural hosts, allowing children to do a great deal of trick-or-treating in a single location. Ekalaka Public Schools will be hosting a preschool developmental screening on Tuesday, October 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the grade school gym. The screening will be for children aged 0 - 5 who are not currently in kindergarten.
