    Last weekend, the CCHS Lady Bulldogs defeated Plenty Coups, Bridger, and Harlowton/Ryegate to secure the Montana Southern C Divisional Championship. This weekend, the team will travel to Butte for the state tournament. Their first game is against Plentywood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. A small pep rally will be held at the Super 8 Hotel in Butte on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. All tournament games will be live streamed by NFHS Network. Fans can find the link to register at mhsa.org....

    Four CCHS Track and Field competitors were in Laurel on Saturday competing at the MHSA Class C State Track & Field Championship. Ennis, Darby, and Richey-Lambert men finished first, second, and third at state this year. For the women, Fort Benton took first, followed by Manhattan Christian and Twin Bridges.     Anyone who has picked up a newspaper recently has likely observed that recent Carter County High School graduate Tanner Fix is fast. Last weekend he proved that by hurdling his way into the record books during the MHSA Class C State Track & Field Championship in Laurel. Fix made it to the state meet in three events, the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and the 400m. Last year he placed 6th in the 100m hurdles and 7th in the 300m hurdles.
