On September 12th at home, the CCHS Lady Bulldog netters lost three straight sets to the Broadus Lady Hawks; 14-25, 11-25, 22-25. CCHS had 2 aces, 16 kills, 2 blocks, 35 digs and 14 assists in the match. Nasya O'Connor led the team with 8 of those digs, 6 kills and one of the two aces. The CCHS Bulldogs improved their record to 3-0 on the young football season with a win over the Forsyth Dogies on September 13th at Rowley Field. The 'Dogs came out strong, looking to rectify a big loss to Forsyth late last season. Bulldog Roger Beach had a nice return on the opening kickoff to set up CCHS with good field position. September 16, 2024 The summer weather has come back to Capitol and Tie Creek. The mornings are cool and productive, but by noon things have heated up. Diane Wear came to Ronda Cordell’s on Monday, and Ronda rode with her to Buffalo, where they had lunch at Blossoms N Brew. Diane went back home with an assortment of vegetables from Ronda’s garden. My heart goes out to those affected by the Remington Fire that burned up 190,000 acres in eastern Montana and Wyoming. 224,000 head of cattle were affected by the fire on countless ranches.
