  • Mid-Rivers pays out nearly $4 million in capital credits

    On August 20, Mid-Rivers Communications released its largest payment of capital credits in the Cooperative’s history to members and patrons, with a capital credit retirement totaling nearly $4 million. The higher retirement amount was made possible by the gains from the 2020 sale of the Cooperative’s wireless operations.     Funeral services for Nicholas Schallenberger, 14, of Baker, were held August 24 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker with Pastor Mike Davis officiating. Burial followed at Bonnievale Cemetery.     Wesley Chapman passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2021 at the age of 82 from complications of PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy).
