The Ekalaka Summer Series children's rodeos concluded Monday night with barrel racing, pole bending and ribbon racing. The series is an excellent way for young riders to gain confidence going into this Saturday's Youth Rodeo in Ekalaka. Children from Marmarth, Rhame, Baker and around Carter County competed. The next blood drive in Ekalaka is scheduled for Tuesday, July 17 at the Carter County Events Center. On Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29, Medicine Rocks Church will celebrate 100 years of existence.
