    The first in-person event of Carter County Museum's summer programming series will be a combination of yoga and star party at Lantis Spring Campground on Saturday, June 13.     There continue to be zero cases of COVID-19 in Carter County. Since we started testing for COVID-19 in March, Montana has only had 554 positive cases, with surrounding states having significantly higher numbers. In Montana, there are currently only 51 active cases, and 485 people have already recovered from COVID-19. In South Dakota, there are 972 active cases, with 4483 recovered.   • Ekalaka Bump-N-Run set for June 27

    A decision was made early this week in regard to the annual bump-n-run race at Ekalaka Airport: It’s a go. The Ekalaka Bump-N-Run will take place on June 27, with races beginning at noon. There will be generous room on the bleachers for spectators to spread out, as well as parking available near the track for fans choosing to watch from their vehicles.     The Gumbo Gophers 4-H Club had their 6th meeting at the Alzada Hall on May 26. Members present were Keenan McInerney, Zander Oliver, Colin and Clancy Higgins, Natalie Foxley, Breanna Ulmer and Tylinn Thomas.
