Frank Sibley LaBree, 94, of Forsyth, MT, passed away on February 22nd. He was born the second child to Charlotte (Lottie) Mulkey and Frank N. LaBree on December 6, 1927, in Ismay, MT. They brought him home with a wagon team using hot rocks to keep him warm for the long trip. He joined his sister, Rosalie, with sisters, Marlee and Janice, to follow. Each year the Knights of Columbus sponsors a free throw contest for girls and boys ages 9 through 14. The contest takes place in multiple steps. On February 22, Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Carter County Conservation District hosted an adaptive management workshop. Throughout the day there were around forty-five people at Carter County Event Center. Kevin Sedivec, NDSU Professor and Rangeland Management Specialist, came to Ekalaka to speak at the event.
