The CCHS Lady Bulldogs finished their volleyball season in third place at the Eastern C Divisional Tournament in Sidney last weekend. First, the Dogs defeated North Country in three straight sets on Thursday morning, 25-9, 25-11 and 25-16. Tori Tooke led the team in aces with 9, Whitney Kittelmann led in assists with 12, and Claire Callahan led in blocks with 2. Callahan also shared the team lead in kills (9) with Hannah LaBree. Doug Stieg (left) and his son, Justin Stieg (right), were rewarded for successful seasons in the Montana-Bump-N-Run at a banquet in Glendive on November 3. Larry Kellner, 72 of Hulett, WY passed away Wednesday, October 31st, 2018. Larry was born on August 27, 1946 to Keith and Thelma (Franke) Kellner, in Kimball, Nebraska, the middle child to his siblings Judy Sims (sister) and Jerry Kellner (brother, deceased). In the Fall of 2017, the superintendent of Ekalaka Public Schools asked for an energy audit of the new elementary building and the high school. Chad Reisenauer from Basin Electric traveled to Ekalaka and was glad to see LED lighting in the new building. While at the school, he noticed that the gym lights had been changed to LED.
