Carter County is accepting applications for a Senior Citizen Housekeeper. Applicants will provide services for persons sixty years old or older. Duties could include vacuuming, mopping, laundry, running errands, etc. Not to exceed 30 hours per month. HELP WANTED - FULL TIME EMPLOYEE: Carter County is seeking a Permanent, Full Time Employee for the combined position of Administrative Assistant for the Extension Office and data entry for the Clerk and Recorder. Duties of this position will include but is not limited to: becoming familiar with the Extension Office and assisting with the day-to-day managing of the office, assisting with 4-H and other Extension related programs, including fair, managing the 4-H audits, and helping run the office in the absence of the Extension Agent. Clerk & Recorder data entry will consist of entering information into Docu-Pro which is the county’s electronic record system. Computer and accounting skills, public relation skills, an ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn the 4-H and Extension programs are necessary for this position. The hours will be 40 hours per week, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday- Friday, during regular business hours, there may be some Extension hours that need to be worked out of regular hours depending upon activities. Hours will likely not exceed 2,080 hours per year. Carter County offers a competitive wage and benefit package with this position.
