The 2020 Carter County Fair Pet Parade is scheduled for 12 noon on Friday, August 7 at the bleacher area of the fairgrounds. Then the fun starts! Registration is from 11 a.m. until noon with the parade beginning at 12 noon sharp! Sponsors of the annual event are the Carter County Fair Board and Marshall Ranch. There’ll be no more horsin’ around wearing our homemade bridles with bits and reins. No winter “horseshoes” with blocks of wood and straps to secure to our feet. Wow! Did you see those pet paraders? Thirteen entries in two categories showed off their talent and colors at the 23rd Annual 2017 Pet Parade on Friday, August 11th.
