    September, 2024 Sunday, September 1st Betty Cline and Valorie O'Connell represented the Lutheran Church by coming in and having a gospel sing.     August, 2024 The first day of August found Virginia was working on the bulletin board, Lois came out to the day room and wondered if a cup of coffee was available and maybe someone to play a game or two of cards. Lois’s daughter Trish happened to stop by about that time, so the two of them played “Kings on the Corner”.     June, 2024 On the 3rd day of June one of our newest residents passed away, Catherine Smith. Catherine lived here only a few short weeks. She is the grandmother of Willow Meyer, one of our nurses. Catherine was a very sweet gracious lady. Extending our deepest sympathy to her family. The 4th and 5th Dahl Memorial hosted a health fair.     May, 2024 The Merry month of May! Do you remember the tradition of having a basket of goodies or an arrangement of flowers placed on your front step? You would hear a knock on the door and before you could answer the giver was gone? Or as a small child dancing around the May Day Pole? Tuesday, May 7 the weather was cool and wet.     April, 2024 Help me remember, April shower brings May flowers, right? Looking back on the month of April, lots of wind but no showers! Monday was the first day of the week as well as the first day of the month. The morning consisted of exercises and after lunch the ladies’ played cards. The afternoon winner was Marty Carroll.     December, 2017 - December 1st fell on a Friday and the morning activity was group exercise lead by Virginia Rychner. Group exercises are scheduled three times a week with very good participation. Later that afternoon, a going away party was held for Debbie Reynolds. Debbie made the decision to move away from our little town and seek new employment. Wishing you the very best Debbie!
